The radiation passport is a document, which must be owned by workers who may be exposed to ionizing radiation. Its purpose is to collect and store data for individual radiation exposure, medical conclusions for working in an ionizing environment and records for participation of the worker in qualification courses.

The radiation passport is a personal document, where the doses received by the worker are regularly recorded. That is how the worker gets informed about the accumulated doses and the information remains as an archive for future reference.
